Our Story

Devine Designs was born from hardship, faith, and a desire to bless others.

My mother struggled with addiction and was tragically murdered when I was only 17. Growing up, I often found myself in foster care or staying with family. I never imagined that I would one day become a business owner. This path was not part of a plan I had carefully created for myself—it found me. Through a difficult upbringing, God gave me a way to express my faith, creativity, and love for others while making custom products accessible to families who may not be able to afford expensive options.

Where It All Began

At 17, I became pregnant with my first child. I worked hard at Honda and was determined that my children would not experience the kind of childhood I had known. In 2017, Cameo cutting machines and custom vinyl shirts were becoming popular. When someone quoted me $40 per shirt for matching outfits for my child and me, I knew that simply was not affordable for a young mother with bills and essential expenses.

A dear friend introduced me to vinyl shirt-making and allowed me to borrow her machine. She sparked a passion in me that I did not know was there. Soon afterward, my sister—who was also struggling with addiction—unexpectedly gave me a Cameo machine of my own. That gift helped begin a journey of creating shirts for family, friends, and strangers. Many times, I made things at little or no cost because my heart was focused on blessing people and helping them have something special.

Learning to Let Go

As word spread, more people began asking me to create for them, and the orders quickly became overwhelming. By 21, I was working hard and creating constantly, but I was not making a profit. After I married, I felt God calling me to trust Him and let the business go. I sold my equipment so someone else could pursue the same craft.

It reminded me of the image of Jesus asking a little girl to give Him her small teddy bear while He holds a much bigger one behind His back. Letting go was difficult, but I believed God had something greater planned—even though I could not see it yet.

A Prayer and a New Beginning

Years later, after two business ventures with my husband did not work out, someone asked me to begin making shirts again. I knew I did not want to restart without a clear sign from God, so I prayed for guidance. Shortly afterward, someone offered to purchase the equipment I needed. I received that unexpected opportunity as the confirmation I had asked for.

Devine Designs was revived with a new foundation: faith, quality, affordability, and service. Today, I am a Christian, a wife, and a stay-at-home homeschooling mother of four. I balance motherhood, marriage, homeschooling, and business ownership with love and dedication. I am human, and challenges sometimes arise, but I work hard to care for every customer, make things right whenever possible, and create products I am proud to send out.

Why Affordability Matters

I remember being the young mother who could not afford a $40 custom shirt. That experience still shapes every decision I make. My goal is to offer high-quality DTF transfers, custom apparel, embroidery, patches, and creative products at prices that allow families and small businesses to participate, create, celebrate, and grow.
